Musk tweets criticism of lockdown as $750M bonus scheme is threatened

Tesla CEO Elon Musk joined those protesting against the lockdown of the US economy, tweeting: ’FREE AMERICA NOW’. The outburst comes close to a potential $750m payout from a bonus scheme linked to Tesla’s share price. The company has reached a six-month average valuation of $96bn. A market cap of $100bn triggers the vesting of the first of 12 tranches of share options granted to Musk.

Based ELON. He's right, the economic damage is the real damage here. There's no point throwing civilization away for people who are going to die from it anyway. Free the healthy, quarantine the sick, may the vulnerable make their own choices.

Musk the scam artist trying to ensure his Overpriced company stays afloat. How about selling more of those "Tesla Trucks" that look like cheap cardboard spray painted with a silver tone to it. Oh I imagine the Musk fanboys here will be furious at anyone being critical of their leader.
