Video shows California boy, 14, being punched by police officer

A California police officer is under an internal probe after a viral video showed him pinning down and punching a 14-year-old teenager for possessing a cigar. The officer was part of the Rancho Cordova Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing Unit and saw what he believed to be a ’hand-to-hand exchange between an adult and juvenile.’ Black Lives Matter has called for the officer to be fired.

Is it bad that I literally don't care? I already know ahead of all this that there's more to the story and I'm tired of constantly delving into researching the backstory that lead up to this happening.

We should encourage our citizens to record everything the police do. Take them to court and share with the whole of america. Also -California-.

I don't make judgements about any of these stories until the body cam footage or facts come out. The media is far too quick to claim anything cops do is outrageously unjustified, particularly when the person affected isn't white. Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't.
