Nearly 4M more Americans file for unemployment

First-time filings for unemployment insurance hit 3.84 million last week as the wave of economic pain continues, according to the Labor Department figures. The latest jobless claims brings the rolling six-week total to 30.3 million. Last week’s initially reported figure was revised up by 15,000 to 4.4 million.
