California gov. orders closure of Orange County beaches after massive crowds

California Gov. Gavin Newsom Thursday announced that the state would temporarily close beaches in Orange County, following a weekend in which thousands of people packed the public areas despite social distancing restrictions. Newsom said that recent behavior had ’raised alarm bells’ among health officials and warned that it could help spur future outbreaks. Other counties have reopened with limits

Huntington beach city council filed emergency injunction to stop this, and sheriff said he wont enforce order...good old Huntington beach, one of the last conservative bastions in a communist state...freedom wins, surfs up boys

Looking at the pictures and drone footage it looks to me like people are staying at least 6 feet apart. So what’s the issue. We know sunlight and heat and humity kills this thing. You tell people they can’t go to work and they live in a area that has publicly maintained beaches but don’t let them use them.....
