Orange County city councils to challenge governor’s order to close beaches

Huntington Beach, Newport Beach and Dana Point city councils voted on Thursday to challenge California Governor Gavin Newsom’s order to close all beaches in Orange County over concerns that crowds last weekend were endangering public health. As of Thursday, California reported a total of 48,917 confirmed Covid-19 and the death toll stood at 1,982.

Good, fight for your rights while you still have them.

people came from miles around to crowd the only open beaches and clogged not just the beaches, but roads. those who still had jobs couldn't get to them because of out of state crowds. as in, people expressing their "freedom" were becoming a public nuisance and interfering with business. not to mention the crowding will result in more infections. so close em. people are being stupid about this.
