Missing Pakistani journalist found dead in Sweden

Swedish police say they have identified a body found late last month in a river as that of missing Pakistani journalist Sajid Hussain. The 39-year-old editor of a Baloch news website, fled Pakistan in 2012 after getting death threats and was granted asylum in Sweden. Hussain had been missing since 2 March. Swedish police said their initial probe did not suggest any foul play in the death.

That honestly begs the question: Whats the point of asylum to escape certain death and prosecution, if those trying to kill/prosecute you are allowed in to find you willy nilly?
