US House panel calls on Amazon’s Bezos to testify on third-party sellers

House Judiciary Committee members are calling on Jeff Bezos to testify before the panel over concerns his deputies may have misled Congress in testimony about their use of data from third-party sellers citing a media report. Amazon’s counsel, Nate Sutton, denied under oath last July that Amazon used sensitive business information from independent sellers to develop products for Amazon to sell.
