Maryland National Guard protecting coronavirus test kits against federal seizure

Maryland deployed members of its National Guard and state police to supervise 500,000 coronavirus testing kits, Governor Larry Hogan told The Washington Post on Thursday. This is necessary, Hogan said, in light of federal seizures elsewhere during the COVID-19 pandemic, citing Mass. Gov. Baker. CO, NJ, KY and TX have reported federal authorities intercepting or diverting supply orders.

"Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker (R) had a purchase of 3 million N95 masks confiscated by an unspecified federal agency at the Port of New York in March just as the state was in the process of acquiring another 1.2 million from China. Baker ultimately relied on a private jet owned by the New England Patriots to transport the other 1.2 million masks that he purchased from China to Boston. " F A I L
