Trump to replace Health Inspector General who criticized COVID-19 response

President Trump named Jason Weida, an assistant US attorney in Boston, as his pick for new inspector general for the HHS. This comes weeks after acting IG Christi Grimm released a report detailing shortages of testing and PPE. Trump had criticized Grimm in early April, calling the findings in her report ’wrong’. The office has been without a permanent inspector general for nearly a year.

Test shortage? Here in MA I know of several people who were tested and none were in a medical field. Most were restaurant workers. Seems if you need to be tested the test is available.
