White House economic adviser says further relief package might not be necessary

White House economic adviser Kevin Hassett said that since the ’opening up’ is happening faster than expected, another round of relief legislation might not be necessary. ’I think right now...that the opening up is starting to happen faster than we expected...then there is a chance that we won’t really need a phase four,’ he said. Meanwhile, negotiations are underway over a 4th stimulus package.
