First hearing by teleconference kicked off by Supreme Court

The Supreme Court of the United States heard arguments in a case via teleconference, for the first time, on Monday. A scheduled hour of arguments in a case was kicked off by nine justices, who participated remotely using a dial-in format to combat the spread of the pathogen.
