U.K. Coronavirus death toll surges with no plan for a return to normality

As of Sunday, the U.K. has 28,446 deaths as a result of Covid-19, closely behind Italy’s 28,884 deaths, according to data from Johns Hopkins University. If U.K. pass Italy in number of fatalities it would become Europe’s worst affected country by that measure. While numbers continue to rise rapidly there is no clear government strategy for a return to normality.
