Airlines stocks fall amidst Air Canada’s downbeat outlook & Warren Buffett exit

Airlines stocks declined sharply on Mon, after Warren Buffett sold off his large stakes in four air carriers, and after Air Canada gave a downbeat assessment of the overall industry. Of the stocks Buffett previously owned, shares of American Airlines Group slid 9.2% before Monday’s open, Delta Air Lines slumped 9.1%, Southwest Airlines Co.shed 7.8% and United Airlines Holdings sank 10.1%.
