WHO criticised by Malaysia for suggesting adults avoid Palm Oil during Covid-19

Malaysia slammed WHO for suggesting people should consume unsaturated fats found in fish, avocado, nuts and olive oil rather than saturated fats found in fatty meat, palm and coconut oils during the pandemic. The world’s second largest producer of palm oil suggested such views were antiquated. Palm oil, heavily criticised for damaging the environment is a key export crop for Malaysia and Indonesia
