FDA tightens rules on coronavirus antibody tests after accuracy concerns

The FDA announced Monday that companies selling coronavirus antibody tests must submit data proving accuracy within the next 10 days or face removal from the market.The action is taken because some sellers have made false claims about the tests. The FDA in March had essentially allowed companies to begin selling tests as long as they notified the agency of their plans and provided disclaimers.
