Senate resumes work amid coronavirus risk

Senators on Monday returned to Washington, D.C. for the first time in almost six weeks. There are, however, concerns that their legislative sessions could end up putting lawmakers and staff at risk of contracting the novel coronavirus. When the Senate reconvened, party leaders raised bipartisan differences over ways of combating the pandemic.
