PewDiePie signs exclusive live-streaming deal with YouTube

YouTube on Monday announced that streaming star PewDiePie will make the Google-owned video platform his exclusive online stage. The deal comes three years after YouTube, owned by Google, ended a separate deal with the video maker over anti-Semitic posts. PewDiePie, whose real name is Felix Kjellberg, has 104 million subscribers at YouTube, where his videos have racked up more than 25 billion views.

I've watched maybe 40 or so of PewDiePie's videos and other than the book review ones they seem somewhat repetitive and predictable. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing since a lot of people seem to care about his content?

Keep in mind, these "antisemitic videos" include him wearing a british officers uniform from ww2. Which they confused for nazi uniform. These people put labels on anything they dont understand or like. Its a shame that he is bending the knee to youtube. This wont end well imo.

Interesting after their history. Basically goes to show that the Entertainment Industry cares more about its own self-interest and self-preservation than it's political correctness.

I don’t really watch his video’s, but with what I know of him, doesn’t this make him a sell out??
