29 Purple Hearts awarded to soldiers who suffered injuries in Iran attack

The US Central Command reported on Monday that six Army soldiers who received injuries in a ballistic missile attack in Iraq in January have been awarded Purple Hearts. The Central Command further said that 23 others have also been approved for the award, and they will be receiving it later this week.

None of these men should have been hurt in the first place. There was ample warning given by Iran that the base was going to be struck but these men were left behind in case it was actually going to be some kind of fake out. Everyone else at the base was evacuated. It never should have happened at all, but Trump needed to change the news cycle away from the impeachment procedings. Republicans are willing to let people die for their cult leader.
