No new COVID-19 cases reported in New Zealand

After reporting nearly 1,500 cases along with 20 deaths since the novel coronavirus disease arrived in New Zealand, no new cases of the disease were reported in the country on Monday. Jacinda Ardern, the Prime Minister of the country has been praised for effectively containing the outbreak via strict quarantine and lockdown measures.

It's a large island with a small population (larger than the UK, 12x less people). Add the fact that they quarentined new arrivals early and that's all there is to it. Though I hear they did better for the vertues of having a leader with a vagina, or so the media says.
