Nearly a fifth of Wendy’s US restaurants are out of beef

Nearly a fifth of Wendy’s US restaurants –1,043 – have run out of beef, according to a Stephens Inc. study. The fast-food chain’s reduced offerings come as major grocery sellers ration how much beef, pork and poultry customers can buy. Beef shortages were reported at Wendy’s locations in California, South Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee and New York.

This is what happens when a major restaurant uses a single supplier to provide it's highest earning product this is a side affect of a condensed supply chain out of convenience and control over an industrial area no one elts produces meat on the global level Tyson's at so ya I'm not surprised we are running out thay effectively hold a monopoly on meat and now that can't keep up
