The Times states UK has drawn up three-stage plan for reopening economy

As per Times news daily, the UK has drawn up a three-stage plan to ease the Covid-19 lockdown that was first imposed on March end. The first phase will open up small shops alongside outdoor workplaces and the second will involve opening large shopping centres, with more people encouraged to go into work. Pubs, restaurants, hotels & leisure centres would be the last to reopen.

The elderly can stay at home while the healthy get on with their lives. We should care for our elders yes, but there is no reason we need to shut down entire economies to placate to a group of people that no longer work and contribute to the economy.
