Airbnb laying off 1,900 employees due to travel decline

Airbnb is laying off 1,900 employees — effectively slashing its headcount by 25%. The home-sharing company has been hit hard by the pandemic as millions of tourists cancelled plans for vacations, work trips and family visits.
