Over half of workforce at Tyson plant in Iowa tests positive for Covid-19

More than half of the workforce at a Tyson Foods pork processing plant in Perry, Iowa, has tested positive for COVID-19. The Iowa Dept. of Public Health reported on Tuesday that 730 workers at the plant had tested positive of Covid-19, representing 58% of its workforce. The department also said that over 1,600 workers at company’s four meatpacking plants across the state had suffered infections.

How many of those people are asymptomatic? Obviously the company is going to take it seriously, but how many of those people are just going on about their day, oblivious to the virus?
