New York Times adds record digital subscribers as ad revenue plummets

The New York Times Co crossed 5 million digital subscribers at a record rate as the coronavirus spread in the first quarter, helping offset shrinking ad revenues. Shares of the publisher, which beat quarterly profit and revenue estimates, were up 6% in afternoon. The NYT, in one of its articles, mentioned that the ’increase was driven by widespread interest in news of the coronavirus pandemic’.

I'm a moderate. So I wasn't fully convinced that NYT is a horrible place for news until they started reporting about covid-19 and blaming trump on it. They also praised the CCP. Since then, NYT = Biased Asf

For me, they are just a propoganda wing of the DNC for the PMC. Fake news like Fox is.

Gee I wonder why. When u write news for only 30% of the population, maybe only 30% at best will be interested.
