Google launches app with virtual reading buddy to help kids learn

Google’s Read Along app, available in over 180 countries helps kids learn amid coronavirus school closures. Virtual reading buddy, Diya, provides verbal and visual feedback as children read stories aloud. Last year, the company released an Android app called Bolo to help kids in India learn to read, It’s now expanding the app to many more countries and changing the name to Read Along.

I think it would be better if a parent actually read with their child, rather than AI.
