CBS News accused of using fake footage in coronavirus testing report

CBS News has been accused by Project Veritas of using a staged shot of a long line of cars to exaggerate how bad the pandemic has hit Michigan. Project Veritas’s James O’Keefe said that CBS News asked medical personnel at the center to line up in their cars to make the testing line outside appear longer. The claim is based on an interview with a hospital ’insider’. CBS News has denied the claims.

Accused? They admitted it. They said that they knew the hospital had inflated the display to get more attention initially they tried to claim it was only one. Later emails emerged showing they knew in advance there would be multiple hospital staff in the line.

Oh look at that project veritas link lol maybe we should get an "anti-MSM" tag to go with it lol And yea, CBS is doing this alot lately ... Usually the same play of pushing a narrative and making up the news along the way, then issue a very unnoticeable "correction" via lone twitter post and never pull the actual article

I am surprised when people actually believe the media. Right and Left media lie, omit, and put a spin on everything.

I'm reserving judgement for now but am leaning against Project Veritas' version. Project Veritas has been known to deliberately edit footage to give a false impression and outright make up stories. Remember ACORN? On the other hand, CBS has also reported stories before gathering full or sufficient information.

The news media investigating and reporting had no idea what was really going on. Got it 👌
