Off-duty officer bodyslams woman in Walmart ’for refusing to wear a mask’

An off-duty Alabama police officer body-slammed a Walmart customer after she refused to wear a face covering and became irate. In the video, the policeman is seen putting the woman in handcuffs, and then grabs the woman and slams her into the ground face-first. The woman was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and other alleged crimes, police in Birmingham said.

Good thing we released child rapists from jail to make room for these horrible mask avoiders.

That guy in a costume should be looking at loss of employment and jail time for assault. Unbelievable to watch a brainwashed idiot violate the only duty he has as an officer. When he was hired they swore him in and he vowed to protect the Constitution. That is his only job and here he is doing the exact opposite.

"suspicion of disorderly contact" because that's what officers should be enforcing on their off time.

To be fair... This cop probably is as misinformed as the rest of the Nation(it's reasonable to assume such a thing, merely because covid19 is a novel virus) But the ABC article wouldn't let me comment but what i would have liked to say is simple; you do you and ima do me and if you're afraid because I'm not doing what you think i should be doing (or doing it wrong) Well, that's just petty... If you think i should be disciplined, and your justification is "because it puts others at risk" then it's tyrannical... Because.. What if i think you're a bad driver? Following this "risky possibility" line of logic, your vehicle(s) should be taken and you should be ticketed double (like speeding when workers are present) every time you're caught in a vehicle unless you're in the furthest from driver possible backseat as to prevent your influence from risking the driver's stable control of the vehicle.... Anyway that's what ABC wouldn't let me say i guess.... So.... Stay safe at your own peril.. Because security is your own damn responsibility
