LG plant in India starts leaking toxic gas again, prompting wider evacuation

Indian officials extended the evacuation area around a LG Chem plant that leaked toxic gas Thursday killing 11 people, triggering speculation whether the orders were sparked by a renewed leak at the factory. N Surendra Anand, a fire officer said that people within a 5km radius were being moved out because of renewed emissions. However, LG Chem said the decision had been ordered as a precaution.
