Brexit trade talks timeline ’virtually impossible’ according to Ireland

It’s the same playbook from the EU and it’s members replaying like Groundhog Day. The EU are very good at describing what they can’t do and poor at telling the world what it can do. Time after time that organisation has failed to unite the self interests of its now 27 members because it still hasn’t realised that its only true value is as a single market. Why it constantly attempts to evolve into a political and economic entity when its members don’t collectively agree is at the heart of the issue that makes it so benign. Time to bin the EURO, give back stolen sovereignty and return to the founding principles.

No shit sherlock. Normally trade negotiations need around 10 years or so. There are many reasons to believe these negotiations will be even more difficult than normal ones and you haven’t really started yet. So yeah, half a year might be kind of optimistic :D
