Warm weather won’t kill off COVID-19, study finds

A new study conducted by the University of Toronto has concluded that temperature has no clear impact on the spread of coronavirus. The study included all 144 geopolitical areas worldwide. The team found little or no link between infection spread and temperature or latitude, and only a weak association with humidity. ’Summer is not going to make this go away’, the co-author concluded.

One minute they say that high temperature has a great effect on killing the virus. The next they say it's not effective. One minute they say that they prove that it wasn't made by the US and was made in china. The next they say it wasn't made in China. One minute they say masks aren't effective the next minute they say u HAVE to wear a mask. I wish we could be more consistent 😔

It's a virus, the human body can't kill it only suppress it with immunities, it can live in a glacier for a million years, time to get on with our lives.

Noshit. Covid still exists. When people say "it kills it off" they mean that uv and heat on surfaces shown to the sun cleans those surfaces. Not. "oh it's 21°C, eveyone will heal now"

I guess we're supposed to stay indoors for the entire Summer? I'm gonna say it now. Cops will be fining or jailing a lot of people. I get occasional emails from my doctors on the subject. They even mention how flues this coming Winter will confuse things. Nah, time to go out. Economy is needed, but son is the basic need to socialize. We are a social race. We suffer (in general) when isolated. I do see a lot of people at my job but it's not the same as seeing my friends. I've seen some of them in passing but it's not the same.

What!? Trump told me heat would kill it would though! Next your going to tell me more than 65,000 people will die from it in the US, that injecting bleach is a bad idea, hydroxychloroquine doesn’t help, and that windmills don’t cause cancer! Don’t even tell me Santa isn’t real.

Its a government scare tactic to see how much they can control you. If the Wuhan flu was really a killer don't you think there would be stricter rules implemented. Heavy fine, jail time, forced vaccines etc... But we are seeing non of that. If you haven't been sick since this epidemic started and you haven't worn a mask or gloves then wake up and see it for what it is a government experiment in order.

All this says is we eventually have to accept that people will get sick and possibly die. The world cannot survive on lockdown indefinitely

UFT is massively liberal. Plus we're donating over 250 million for "research". How about using the money to mass produce generic hydroxychloroquine, which actually works?

Maybe Donald Trump should say that coronavirus can never be cured. Then the entire Leftist elite, media and scientific communities will spend all their resources on finding a cure just to prove him wrong.

"According to these data, the half-life of the virus, namely the time necessary to halve its power, is 18 hours with a temperature between 21 and 24 degrees Celsius, with 20% humidity on a non-porous surface . This includes surfaces such as door handles. But this half-life is reduced to six hours when the humidity increases to 80%, and only to two minutes when sunlight is added to the equation." “As the temperature increases, as the humidity increases, with no sun involved, you can see how drastically that half-life goes down on that virus,” Bryan said. “The virus is dying at a much more rapid pace just from exposure to higher temperatures and just from exposure to humidity.” "The analysis indicated that case numbers rose in line with average temperatures up to a peak of 8.72 degrees Celsius and then declined." https://www.studentnewsdaily.com/daily-news-article/dhs-scientist-says-studies-show-heat-humidity-slow-coronavirus/ https://www.web24.news/u/2020/04/sun-and-heat-could-weaken-coronavirus-study-presented-to-the-white-house.html

Honestly, it's a Coronavirus for goodness sake. Everyone has been exposed to one at some point in their lives. This particular flavor is highly asymptomatic, low mortality, it's honestly about how the flu would be if we didn't have a vaccine. Deal with it.
