Trump: The U.S. next week to begin buying $3 billion worth of farm goods

President Trump wrote a post on Twitter on Saturday saying that the U.S. will start buying $3 billion worth of farm goods as unemployment rises and people are forced to food lines. It was uncertain whether he was referring to a $19 billion relief plan the USDA announced in April. The agency claimed that it would purchase $3 billion worth of agricultural products as part of that program.

Good. $3 billion is a small price to pay (relatively) to help out American farmers and shore up the food supply. We can't have farms shutting down.

It’s so sad that reporters have to follow Trumps tweets for news that affects the whole country, if not the world. It’s like cops showing up every time a 3 yr old wants to dial 911.
