Sen. Lamar Alexander to self-quarantine after staffer tests positive

Sen. Lamar Alexander from Tennessee will self-quarantine for two weeks after one of his staffers tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday. Alexander has not exhibited any symptoms and already tested negative for the illness on Thursday, his chief of staff said. His quarantine is being done ’out of an abundance of caution’. Alexander will chair Tuesday’s Senate health committee hearing remotely.
