Lockdown spurs 11-year-old skateboarder to make history

A boy from Brazil used his time in lockdown improving his skateboarding skills and has now made history after becoming the first-ever person to land a 1080-degree spin on a vertical ramp. Closure of schools due to the pandemic gave Gui Khury, 11, time to practise. The feat comes more than 20 years after US skateboarding legend Tony Hawk completed the world’s first 900-degree spin.

This is a win for humanity! It may not be your cup of tea but allowing people to pursue their own dreams rather force feed them government schooling and indoctrination is the only true form of freedom.
