China pushes back after Canada calls for Taiwan’s addition to WHO

China responded sternly Monday to efforts by Canada and its allies to allow Taiwan access to the WHO. Canada along with Australia, France, Germany, New Zealand, Britain, Japan and the US have called on the WHO to give Taiwan observer status at a meeting for next week.
