Unless there's more information that's not yet publicly available, the case should be dismissed. It was never about "hunting niggers", it was about protecting their community from a known criminal who matched the description of a wanted criminal... The dude tried to wrest a shotgun off one of them, what did he think would happen? Sure it's sad, especially since it was a mistaken identity, but the gunmen did nothing unlawful.

There has been new info on the Arbery case. One of the two men had arrested Arbery in the past. Arbery was on camera breaking into a construction site house at night and on that day. Which was also on camera. It was called into 911 he was breaking into the site then left. That is when the two men ONE of which again knew Arbery and his record, including a illegal gun offence so they pulled their guns, tried to citizens arrest him. The media is Race Baiting strong here don't fall for it. This will end in not guilty the media knows it but they want black people angry to control them not to side with them. Remember "the enemy of my enemy is my friend," but the other half of that is "until they served their propose. "

I feel media and political pressure will cause the courts to press higher charges that they lack evidence to prove, similar to what happened with Zimmerman. Wrongful death or negligent homicide seems the best choice based on what we know. If we make a first degree hate crime murder they may not be able to prove it.

When you try to steal a shotgun (or any gun) from someones hands, you get shot. Not only do you get shot, you DESERVE to get shot. Arbery was NOT out jogging, he was not some innocent saint, and he absolutely 100% deserved to die. I would say the same thing if he was white.

who woulda thunk, that all this time, black people could just try to "arrest" rednecks, coz they fit the "description" of some made up "wanted guy", and murder them, and get the support of most of the commentors on this site.... huh..... seems like they wasted ALOT of time gang banging just to feel safe in their community....

It doesn't matter because Mr. Marathon's killers will probably get off innocent, and a bunch of black people in the local area will pitch a fit. Such is the way of things.

Georgia shooter’s father previously investigated victim Ahmaud Arbery When he was in high school, Arbery was sentenced to five years probation as a first offender on charges of carrying a weapon on campus and several counts of obstructing a law enforcement officer. He was convicted of probation violation in 2018 after he was charged with shoplifting, court documents show. McMichael, who retired from the DA’s office in April 2019, made no mention of his work on that investigation to police, though it’s unknown whether he remembered it at the time.

Interesting details guy with shot gun and Aubrey knew each other from shoplifting case. Aubrey also had weapons charges. Part 1 Part 2 According to a report in The Brunswick News, Arbery was indicted for allegedly bringing a gun to a 2013 high school basketball game when he was 19. Family attorney Lee Merritt has acknowledged Arbery’s 2018 arrest on shoplifting charges, CNN reported. But any reference to “alleged conduct from high school or shoplifting is absurd and has nothing to do with his murder,” Merritt said.

There’s not enough details in this case to make a conclusive decision on who was guilt
