Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun has said he expects a major airline to go out of business this year as the pandemic decimates demand for passenger flights. ’Something will happen when September comes around. Traffic levels will not be back to 100%. They won’t even be back to 25%...,’ Calhoun predicted in an interview with NBC. When asked if a major airline would fold, he replied ’Yes, most likely.’
Adios. Be nice to replace the airlines with high speed rail.
Maybe they shouldn't spend 96% of their free cash flow on stock buybacks.
