’Open the plant, NOW’: Trump sides with Musk over Tesla car-factory reopening

President Trump Tuesday sided with Elon Musk in his fight with California over reopening Tesla’s factory there, tweeting that the automaker should be allowed to return to production despite continued COVID-19 restrictions. ’California should let Tesla & Elon Musk open the plant, NOW,’ Trump said on Twitter. ’It can be done fast & safely!’. The tweet prompted a ’Thank you!’ from Musk.

Glad to see Musk ignoring unconstitutional restrictions. Hopefully more follow his lead.

Elon, Texas awaits!! California will never respect you as long as you feed the looters. They will hate you for succeeding. We’ll throw a B.B.-Q for ya!

Some people in the comments section be like "corporations profiting from the suffering of others while people die". Please grow a pair, your shoes and smartphone come from factories in China and Bangladesh, the world is not made out of rainbows.

As the owner of a company with employees myself, may I suggest to Mr. Musk that he should remember that we all came to visit this planet naked and that we’ll leave the same way. Nothing can ever justify putting other people at risk. Those who wish to work may do so from home or come to the plant with proper protective equipment. We should always stay on the side of the law or let chaos take over. Society will never be perfect because people make society and none of use are perfect. Just do what is right, remember your legacy, this is all that counts as this is the only lasting mark you will leave. Don’t be a De Lorean.
