WHO warns of lack of predictability and difficulties in controlling COVID-19

At a briefing on Wednesday, WHO Emergencies director Dr Mike Ryan warned against trying to predict when the virus would disappear. ’It is important to put this on the table: this virus may become just another endemic virus in our communities, and this virus may never go away,’ Dr Ryan told the (virtual) press. He added that he doesn’t believe ’anyone can predict when this disease will disappear’.

We can't make other viruses 'disappear', so why should we expect to control the virus people are treating as the end of the world? Isn't the only way to erase a virus to completely eradicate all strains of it before it mutates?

Time is slipping away and the evidence that China lobbed the first round of WW3 is fading away. We've been hit with a bio-weapon (not man made, but procured from nature, cultivated and released) and the damage is massive, yet they are pretending they had nothing to do with it.
