Robot ’dog’ named Spot to help social distancing efforts at Singapore park

A four-legged robot dog named Spot will help in social distancing efforts in Singapore’s Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park. Developed by Boston Dynamics, the robot is a pilot trial to remind park visitors to practice social distancing. Spot will be deployed over three kilometres in park for two weeks beginning 8th May. The dog has cameras which will allow it to determine number of people present in the park.
