Faulty COVID-19 kits suspected as goat and fruit test positive in Tanzania

COVID-19 test kits have aroused suspicions in Tanzania after results taken from goats and fruit came back positive. President John Magufuli, whose government has already drawn criticism for previously asking Tanzanians to pray the coronavirus away besides touting an anti-COVID herbal tonic, said the kits imported from abroad had ’technical errors’. Magufuli has called for an investigation.
