Eastern Philippines was hit by a strong typhoon on Thursday. In order to avoid the virus risks as a consequence of overcrowding emergency shelters, the authorities evacuated tens of thousands of people systematically. This year the Philippines has been hit by multiple natural disasters and a potential Bio weapon aswell. I cannot ignore the fact that this current administration has been top shelf (with 1st world-like assistance). From seeking temporary shelter for the inhabitants of Taal, to distributing relief goods to families under quarantine, and now evacuating families on the path of this typhoon. Not to mention the few earthquakes the islands had. Say what you want about my president, hear what you want about my president, nothing can discredit the fact that the Philippines is less corrupt and finally there for the Filipino people compared to previous administrations. Western and Filipino Neo Liberals don’t like this and that’s why he’s being portrayed as a Dictator.
