Federal court revives emoluments lawsuit charges against Trump over DC hotel

The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals on Thurs revived a lawsuit from the Maryland and Washington, DC attorneys general which accused President Trump of violating the Constitution’s Foreign and Domestic Emoluments Clauses by gaining from use of the Trump International Hotel by foreign and US officials. The case previously had been dismissed by a Fourth Circuit panel.
