Delta to retire all 18 of its Boeing 777 jets by the end of 2020

Delta Air Lines announced on Thu May 14 that it would no longer fly Boeing 777 wide-body aircraft. The workhorse of the ultra-long-haul market, along with the MD-90s, will retire by the end of the year, to be replaced on those routes by more fuel efficient Airbus 350s and 330s when international demand returns.
