US has asked Chinese authorities to release Gedhun Choekyi Nyima,recognised as Tibetan Buddhism’s 11th Panchen Lama. Nyima, at age 6 was recognised by Dalai Lama in 1995 as the reincarnation of Panchen Lama, the second most senior figure in Tibetan Buddhism. Nyima disappeared soon after this.

It's finally happening. For a decade China has managed to commit these atrocities and not only subvert the western world's attention away from it, but have western investment directly funding it.
