Brazil’s health minister resigns after just weeks on the job

Brazil’s health minister Nelson Teich handed in his resignation on Friday, less than a month on the job. Teich recently resisted President Jair Bolsonaro push for wider use of hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for coronavirus. The two also disagreed on the pace of reopening the economy. Last week, Teich said he was not consulted before Bolsonaro issued a decree allowing certain businesses to open.

Now I'm just a random commenter on the interwebery, but does the president of Brazil normally answer to his or her health minister? I would have assumed that it was an advisory role.

Bolsonaro will keep changing ministers until he founds one that agrees (or obey) 100% with the end of quarentine and lockdown that he defends.

I wish Trump could get Fauci to resign like this. Just make his life as miserable as possible until he can't take it anymore.
