F-22 fighter jet crashes near Eglin Air Force Base, pilot ejects safely

An F-22 stealth fighter jet that was stationed at the Eglin Air Force Base located in Florida crashed 12 miles northeast of the base on Friday. The pilot ejected safely, and was consequently transported to a local hospital for observation and evaluation, the Air Force reported.

Well shame to lose a f22 but at least the pilot is safe easier to replace a jet than a trained pilot
