Fired State Dept. watchdog was investigating Saudi arms deal: Rep. Eliot Engel

Rep. Eliot Engel (D) who launched a probe into the firing of State Department Inspector General claimed Monday that Steve Linick was probing the Trump administration’s use last year of emergency powers to flout congressional oversight and sell arms to Saudi Arabia. It had previously been reported that the IG office had been looking into whether Pompeo ordered a staffer to perform personal errands.

And yet Democrats had no issue with selling weapons to the Saudis when chocolate Jesus was president. Imagine making this investigation contingent upon applying the same stringent standards to Obama's administration and officials.

Where are all the comments from cultists? If it doesn't look good for Trump, just ignore it.

Pompeo had him fired. Trump hasn't got the brains to run his dvr let alone international arms deals.

You know, with how often the left has been using shit to fish and or make up bullshit on the President I don’t mind this firing. The history of investigating this administration has shown far more often that the investigators are not only biased, but will outright lie to create media hype. This is simply a new angle to try and impeach the President.

That is not a great look for Trump, but since I hadn't read the details I can't say if we're talking about corruption on Trump's part or over exaggeration on the newspaper's part

Trump loves Saudi caliphate whom delight in public beheadings for adultery. Perhaps it's because the right would make the USA the handmaids tale that they admire the Saudis so much.

This makes more sense than the other story about making staffer do things.
