Dutch farm worker contracts the coronavirus from mink, says agriculture minister

The Dutch Agriculture Minister claimed that a farmer breeding mink to export fur contracted COVID-19 from the animals. Outbreaks on mink farms in the Netherlands was first reported in April, when breeders noticed some animals having trouble breathing, prompting a wider investigation. But the Netherlands’ Institute for Public Health still assessed the chance of transmission from animals as minimal.
