CDC quietly releases detailed guidelines for reopening America

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has quietly released detailed guidance on how states can reopen after it was initially shelved by the White House, calling them ’overly specific’. The document includes specific guidance for reopening child care centers, schools, businesses, public transit. The guidance comes well after many states charged ahead with plans to lift stay-at-home orders.

The CDC and the WHO have only been harmful. I would take any report they put out as what not to do. They are not there to help. It would be like you think a loan shark is out to help you financial problems. This was in part due to lab accidents at the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in July 2014 that raised questions about biosafety at US high-containment labs. At that time, the CDC had closed two labs and halted some biological shipments in the wake of several incidents in which highly pathogenic microbes were mishandled by US government laboratories: an accidental shipment of live anthrax, the discovery of forgotten live smallpox samples and a newly revealed incident in which a dangerous influenza strain was accidentally shipped from the CDC to another lab. A CDC internal report described how scientists failed to follow proper procedures to ensure samples were inactivated before they left the lab, and also found “multiple other problems” with operating procedures in the anthrax lab.

Please hold our hand more CDC. We don't know how to be clean and safe. What ever would we do without you.

This has caused a backlash already where up to 40% of parents are strongly considering pulling their children from public schools if the pursue these types of measures in fall. Expect massive public school defunding if this happens as the level of funding is tied to attendance/enrollment.
