Ford shuts two US assembly plants due to COVID-19 infections

Ford was forced to shut down production at 2 of its plants - 1 in Dearborn and the other in Chicago. Dearborn, Michigan, plant was closed due to a positive COVID-19 test by 1 worker, while the Chicago assembly plant was closed due to a parts shortage. It was the 2nd day in a row Ford had closed its Chicago plant, after closing it twice on Tuesday after 2 workers also tested positive of COVID-19.
